- The mention of Hal Lindsey is amusing. Back when he wrote his Late Great Planet Earth he said that Jesus would return by 1988 (1948 + 40 years). When that didn't happen, he tried 2007 (1967 + 40 years). Of course, that hasn't happened either.

- The ignorance of so many of the people who post an opinion on these sites is staggering. Not because they disagree about this or that with a positon I might hold, but because they are so obviously just plain uninformed about what it is that they are mouthing off about.

- I agree with the Supreme Court ruling. Understand, in my gut I want to put a child rapist to death, but I look at it like this.
